Butternut squash, which origin is between Australia and New Zealand, is a kind of winter climbing pumpkin. It has a sweet and rich taste. It belong to the Cucurbita Moschata family. It's pulp has a pleasant taste and it's optimal for its long storability. Its fruit has a chamois colour, and lasts until 25 cm. It has many anti oxidant properties because it contains a huge quantity of beta-carotene, and helps protecting blood vases.
